The seedpod of the Soapnut or Indian Soapberry contains saponins, and can be soaked or boiled to create a natural lather used to wash the hair. Neem is another plant used in Indian Auyurvedic medicine to treat many skin ailments. I've added extracts of these two plants to the other herbs I use to make my lye solution. In addition, neem oil has been included in the oils used to make the shampoo. Lavender, cedarwood and tea tree oils combine to cover the strong scent of neem, and add their own benefits. I've used jojoba oil as the superfat oil instead of argan oil.

- Free USPS shipping on all domestic orders over $75 (UPS and FEDEX delivery service are not included in this offer).
- Orders weighing more than 1 pound will be mailed by USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation for a flat rate of $8.50 on domestic US orders.
- Orders weighing under one pound will be sent by USPS First Class Mail with tracking for $5.50
- International orders placed online will be subsequently charged for actual shipping costs. My shopping cart does not calculate postage on international orders.
