About my Shaving Soaps
All of my shaving soap is made without coconut oil or coconut acid. I use beef tallow combined with extra stearic acid, unrefined organic shea butter, castor oil, sustainably sourced organic palm oil, avocado oil, aloe vera, bentonite clay, silk protein, allantoin, and glycerin.
It offers exceptional protection, glide and post-shave skincare and is excellent for even sensitive skin and tough beards. Most of my shaving soaps also include lanolin, and I use both botanical essential oils and high-quality fragrances in my soap.
Shaving Soap Refill
My shaving soap refill pucks are semi-soft when freshly made and become harder as they cure. All pucks are molded into 3" diameter round form (four ounces each), shrink-wrapped, and labeled with a full list of ingredients. If you are using one of my 4" diameter soap tubs, I recommend pressing it into the tub to fill the bottom, creating more space at the top of the jar to lather on the puck, if you desire.
Shaving Soap Stick
Shave sticks are 2 ounces of soap in a 1.5" diameter plastic screw-up tube, handy for travel, face-lathering, legs and underarms.

Hand-made Shaving Bowls
The bottom-raised swirl and designs etched into the inner surface provide traction with your brush to help build lather.
They are available in assorted glazes and all bowls have a characteristic slight indentation in the lip to provide a better grip.
These are hand-made items and the artist's production schedule will determine their availability.

Aftershave moisturizing
-Whipped Shea Butter-
FAIR TRADE UNREFINED SHEA NUT BUTTER is blended with essential oils or fragrance, a touch of coconut oil, and Vitamin E to make whipped butters that apply smoothly and absorb well. It is a wonderful AFTER-SHAVE MOISTURIZING BALM (also great as a body butter or hand cream)
HOW TO STORE YOUR WHIPPED SHEA BUTTER
Shea butter melts at temperatures above 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
If you order shea butter in the summer, it may arrive melted.
If this happens, put the closed jar in the refrigerator until it solidifies. It will lose the "whipped" quality but maintains the emollient properties of the butter.
